“His left hand cradles my head while his right hand holds me close. We are at rest in this love.” Song of Songs 8:3 TPT
No, I have not stopped writing. I’ve been a bit busy. So busy, in fact, that in a consultation with a naturopath yesterday, he asked what I like to do for relaxation. As I struggled for a response, I wanted to ask what he meant by that word!
I have lots of scripture, notes, and ideas for our regular discussion group on how our King Jesus equips us for change. Between a daughter and son-in-law (and grandchildren) moving back into town, and helping my mom move into assisted living, we’ve experienced very recent changes.
“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10 ESV
We all go through changes. Some are good, smooth, easy, even fun. Others are more stressful and challenging. Regardless, we are invited into a safe place with Jesus Who never changes.
Today we should pray that Jesus will be our place of refuge for us, in all things.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 ESV
