“See, today I have set before you life and prosperity, death and adversity. For I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commands, statutes, and ordinances, so that you may live and multiply, and the Lord your God may bless you in the land you are entering to possess.” Deuteronomy 30:15-16 HCSB

Today is voting day in the USA. We have this privilege, this freedom. Can we keep it?
When God created mankind, He gave us freewill. He did not want puppets who have no choice.

“But if your heart turns away and you do not listen and you are led astray to bow down to other gods and worship them, I tell you today that you will certainly perish and will not live long in the land you are entering to possess across the Jordan.” Deuteronomy 30:17-18 HCSB

It should be clear enough by now to see what happens to a society when we as a nation do not choose God. Is it too late to save our country? Has there been enough repentance for the millions of babies brutally murdered in what should be the safest place? Or the thousands of children our government has lost track of? I’ll just stop there. Have we believers repented (turned around) for our apathy that has allowed these (and so much more) to continue?

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live,” Deuteronomy 30:19 HCSB

Today, please join with the many who are praying that we as individuals and as a nation will humble ourselves, repent, and choose life. Then please, go vote!

“love the Lord your God, obey Him, and remain faithful to Him. For He is your life, and He will prolong your life in the land the Lord swore to give to your fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”” Deuteronomy 30:20 HCSB
