Earthquake

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV

By now most of the world has likely heard of the unlikely earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand. The pictures and videos I’ve seen are horrific.

Today let’s take some time to pray for all those who have lost loved ones, homes, or businesses. This is an incredible, devastating loss. Let’s pray that our God of compassion will move in His people to go to those suffering loss to tell them of the hope we have in Jesus. Let’s pray for wisdom for those in power to know how to rebuild all that’s been destroyed.
