Feast

“He brought me to his banquet hall and raised the banner of love over me.” Song of Songs 2:4 GNT

The King’s Daughters is planning to have a tea party* two weeks from now. The King Himself invites us to the wedding feast of His Son, and talks much in His Word about food. There’s a closeness, an openness that happens when we share meals together. The discussion topic will be how our King equips us with relationships.

“You prepare a banquet for me, where all my enemies can see me; you welcome me as an honored guest and fill my cup to the brim.” Psalm 23:5 GNT

We’re not at the wedding feast yet. We’re still on earth, we still encounter the enemy. But we are invited to step into victory!

Today we should pray for good relationships in our lives. Relationships that will encourage us and be used to encourage others. Close friends who can pray together. Eat together, cry and laugh together.

“A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Proverbs 18:24 ESV
