Glory to Glory

“I will display My greatness and holiness, and will reveal Myself in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭38‬:‭23‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

Once again we see God’s heart, His longing. He wants us to know Him. He displays His glory.

“Summoning His 12 disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, to drive them out and to heal every disease and sickness.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭1‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

God uses common people. When we repent and surrender our lives to Him, He gives us His authority.

How are we doing with that? Are we walking in the authority God gives us? Are we being obedient servants?

“I was made a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by the working of His power.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

Paul recognized God’s purpose for him. Once a Christian-killer, God transformed him. Ephesians is just one of many New Testament books penned by Paul.

“This is so God’s multi-faceted wisdom may now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

The wisdom of God to use us to display His glory! Today we should pray that as God transforms us, He will also use us. There is still a very confused world out there beyond our church walls that is in desperate need of hearing that there is a Mighty, life-changing God Who loves them!

“We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭HCSB
