You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.” Psalms 59:16-17 NIVSometimes when I get up in the morning some silly song is playing in my mind. This morning the song going through my mind was ‘Only a Holy God’. Far from being a silly song, this one right away brought my attention to our God and these verses in Psalms. Then my husband told me that ‘Hosanna’ was going through his mind. Songs in the morning to begin our day worshipping our Holy God!We get so busy throughout the day, but what a fun start! A reminder from our Father that He is with us, He is to be worshipped, He is our refuge and strength, He loves us, our lives are in Him, He has redeemed us, He is coming again for us, and so much more!!Today, we can worship this Holy God and thank Him for all He is to us. In the middle of our busyness we can remember that we who have been bought with the blood of Jesus are only passing through this earth- our citizenship, our home, is in heaven.“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” Colossians 3:1-4 NIV
