I’ve heard it before, I’ve said it before- we live in an upside down kingdom. Is it not human nature to know that we are right- even though maybe we are not. We do not see the entire picture. God does.
“‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,’ says the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.’” Isaiah 55:8-9 NKJV
God chose an insignificant town for His Son to be born. The Creator Who threw stars into space, fashioned majestic mountains, gave life to an innumerable diversity of creatures, chose this small village to enter our time and world.
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.” Micah 5:2 NKJV
Today may we marvel at God’s wonders. Creation, salvation, His love for us! We should pray that our response will be that of Mary. He deserves our surrender, our obedience, our love, and our trust!
