My mind once again is going several different directions – a couple of approaching deadlines, our ladies’ next discussion gathering November 9, the retreat the next day, my paperwork for the day, – just a small sampling of my thoughts! What about you?
We are invited, instructed rather, to take every thought captive. Every thought captive to our Savior Who whispers His love to us!
We have an enemy who wants to make a playground of our minds. He will offer ideas and thoughts to us that sound so good. Until they’re not. And we realize our captivity.
Today let’s intentionally take each thought to Jesus. Let’s allow Jesus to lead us and instruct us. To remind us of how much He loves us.

“But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!” Romans 5:8 HCSB
God’s very real true love for us!
And for those moments when things seem too difficult? We have a shield of faith to pick up and protect us.
“In every situation take the shield of faith, and with it you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.” Ephesians 6:16 HCSB
