This is our King! Jesus, Ruler over all! He loves us and is with us!
We still live here on earth. What do we do with our time here?
“The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.” Romans 13:12 NIV
Interesting phrase- armor of light. Jesus called Himself the Light of the world, so we ‘clothe’ ourselves with Jesus, the armor of light.
Last weekend I heard the phrase ‘man your battle stations’. It reminded me of when God asked Moses what was in his hands. God knew He could use Moses’ staff to do mighty things.
What’s in our hands? What, where is our battle station? In this spiritual war we’re in, how can God use us?
We have 2 events coming up next month on November 9 and 10. On the 9th is our 2nd Saturday gathering. On the 10th we have a retreat. Discussion on both days will be about our parts in God’s Kingdom. There’s a place for everyone who wants to follow our King Who has conquered the enemy!
“For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.” Ephesians 6:12
We live in exciting times, and with Jesus, we are on the winning side! Today we should pray that as we bow in surrender to our King, we will walk victoriously. Please pray, too for these 2 events, that God will be exalted on High!
