“Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.” Proverbs 24:11 ESV
Jesus calls us to the rescue business. If we really believe His written Word, we will! The message He has given to proclaim is a message of love. Of hope, and life.
“And I will betroth you to me forever. I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy. I will betroth you to me in faithfulness. And you shall know the Lord.” Hosea 2:19-20 ESV
Hear God’s tender words of love for unfaithful Israel. He says the same to us- He calls us out of our sin, has mercy on us, and calls us His own!
“and I will sow her for myself in the land. And I will have mercy on No Mercy, and I will say to Not My People, ‘You are my people’; and he shall say, ‘You are my God.’” Hosea 2:23 ESV
Today we should pray for eyes to see, ears to hear, minds to know, and hearts to comprehend God’s love for us.
