We have such rich promises from God! When we come to Him in repentance, He forgives our sins. Jesus paid the price! He longs for relationship with us!
Jesus, promised so long ago, came into a small town to begin His path to our redemption. And now He offers us a relationship with Him and peace.
“But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, are only a small village among all the people of Judah. Yet a ruler of Israel, whose origins are in the distant past, will come from you on my behalf. (…) And he will stand to lead his flock with the Lord’s strength, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. Then his people will live there undisturbed, for he will be highly honored around the world. And he will be the source of peace. (…)” Micah 5:2, 4-5 NLT
Today, in the middle of any mess we might be in, in the middle of our complacent lives, or whatever we’re facing, let’s lay our lives at His feet. Let’s bow in repentance and surrender to our Holy God Who is able to work mightily in our lives. Let’s worship our Mighty God!
