Testimony

“And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

How do we defeat our enemy, satan? Jesus rose from the dead, conquering the devil’s power over us. When we have surrendered our lives to Jesus, we live in His victory. And as we live in this new life, we gather stories. Testimonies of what God has done in our lives. Then we share our stories. Because what He has done in our lives He can do in others as well!

“Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.” 1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Today, as we worship Jesus and live with Him as Lord of our lives, we should pray that He will lead us to people who need to hear the stories we have of God’s faithfulness to us. Stories of God’s redeeming power in our lives.

“Jesus came and told his disciples, ‘I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬
