“Don’t boast about tomorrow, for you don’t know what a day might bring.” Proverbs 27:1 HCSB
I think this is kind of the middle of the week. Right? This has been a busy week in many ways. We make our plans. His guides our steps. Sometimes He scraps our plans. Being self-employed, it sure happens to us.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 HCSB
Trust in the Lord. We see what we’re able to see, God sees the whole picture. Corrie ten Boom often gave the example of a tapestry. The back side is full of knots and crossovers, looking like a big mess. But the front side is beautiful.
Our trust, our hope is in God. He has proven His love for us.
“For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross — whether things on earth or things in heaven.”Colossians 1:19-20 HCSB
Today we should pray that no matter what comes our way, we will trust the One Who gave His very life to save us. He is worthy of our trust and our praise!
“Lord, I turn to You. My God, I trust in You. (….)” Psalms 25:1-2 HCSB
