Triumph

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Do we ‘see the day approaching’? Wars and rumors of wars, pestilence, hurricanes, wildfires – who would have thought we’d be witnesses to the degree of these things happening in our time? Has there ever been a time when there’s open discussion about one-world governance, the need for government to control what individuals buy and sell (CBDC), or even where we go (15-minute cities)?

Yes, we’re getting close to Jesus’ return for His spotless bride! How do we get ready? How do we endure? Better yet, how do we live victoriously in perilous times?

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

As we hail Jesus as our King, we tell what He has done for us. Because what He has done for us, He can do for others. And, like the 3 thrown into the fiery furnace, we trust God with our very lives. Even if it means our death.

Today we should pray for tenacious love for God that will carry us through any difficult times we face. And we should pray for unity with other believers in Jesus, to strengthen and encourage one another.

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” John‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NIV
