“Listen closely, pay attention to the words of the wise, and apply your mind to my knowledge. For it is pleasing if you keep them within you and if they are constantly on your lips. I have instructed you today — even you — so that your confidence may be in the Lord.” Proverbs 22:17-19
Where is our confidence? Who or what do we trust? More and more we are being shown that our confidence needs to be in God alone. With the world at war, we can stand strong in God!
“Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength.” Ephesians 6:10 HCSB
Of all the times in history, God put us here right now in this time. On purpose. What is God’s plan for us right here where we are, at this time?
This coming weekend we have an opportunity to gather together again to talk about this. Ladies, you are invited to join us for discussion, sharing scripture, and prayer. God wants us to be women armed for spiritual battle, caring for the wounded in hospital tents, preparing meals, raising young warriors, or any number of things required in spiritual battle. The time is nearer to Jesus’ return for His bride!
“And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our worship meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25 HCSB
There are also two other gatherings that I know of this weekend. I would recommend either one of them.
God is moving among His people, gathering us together to worship Him!
“Magnify the LORD with me! Together let us lift his name up high!” Psalms 34:3 CEB
